Jonah Hill is a dog dad!
On Jan. 11, the actor shared that he brought home a gift he described as massive from Love Leo Rescue in Los Angeles alongside two photos of his pup. Here is what he wrote, "Thank you so much, @loveleorescue; you gave me a massive gift, and I appreciate you and the work you and your foster parent volunteers do."

The actor hasn’t shared much about his new pup yet on his account, but a post on Love Leo Rescue’s Instagram where they also shared the news of the adoption tells us his new pup’s name is Fig (that is, if her new owner doesn’t change it) and that the cute pup is three years old. An adorable photo of Jonah cuddling Fig on the nonprofit’s Instagram reads, “Fig is home!” “Thank you, @jonahhill, for choosing to #adoptnotshop. All the cool kids are doing it!! This beautiful, extra cuddly, three-year-old pit bull was abandoned at a rural shelter during the holiday season. We are so happy she landed where she did. Clearly, it’s a love connection. We’re loving this adoption story and are so grateful we could be part of her journey. Happy life!
Fig also has a page on Love Leo rescue’s website, and apparently, adding “cuddly” to her name will not be a bad idea. “The volunteers noticed how sweet and affectionate she was the moment they entered her kennel,” the page reads. “She loves to sit with her head on her person’s shoulder and be close to them.”
We all love sweet and affectionate pets; no doubt Fig is one of them. You can bet she is currently enjoying her stay with Jonah Hill. We can’t wait to see more Figs photos in the future and to watch her and Jonah’s dog-human relationship grow.
